Rose Point now makes it easier then ever to purchase and install C-MAP by Jeppesen charts.

Coastal Explorer has been updated to deliver C-MAP charts via the Internet. After purchasing one or more chart products they will automatically be downloaded to your PC and installed into Coastal Explorer. Some of the files are quite large (particularly the MegaWide products) so be sure you have a decent Internet connection or enough time for a big download before starting.

Coastal Explorer now supports C-MAP by Jeppesen charts. This is great news for boaters who are planning to travel outside US waters. The charts are cost effective, detailed and include coverage for the entire world. The charts are purchased for a particular region which come in two sizes, wide and mega-wide. Specialty fishing and bathymetric charts are also available.

C-MAP Max charts include: excellent chart coverage for a given region, photos and diagrams of ports and marinas, land elevation information, and tides and tidal stream data.

The C-MAP MAX Chart Catalog is included in the Coastal Explorer Chart Portfolio and includes an easy way to purchase them directly from the software. The charts are delivered on DVD that we send you in the mail, or that you get from your local reseller.

To view the charts and install them on your computer you must first install the FREE Coastal Explorer update. After installing the update you then install the C-MAP Support Add-on. Both of these are available on the downloads page.
