Has there be any thought to adding support for anchor drag detection? Most plotters (in my case Germin) will notify if the boat moves a distance from a _point_. Often it is more useful to have ring-range for the drag alarm that allows the boat to swing around the anchor.
Please disregard. I explained this poorly. My garmin works fine if set the mark right when I drop the anchor.
Just installed CE. With previous software program we found the MOB function very convenient. Looks like it will work as well with CE.
I announce that the anchor is on the bottom and first mate selects MOB on the computer. We can over zoom the screen and with tracking on watch how the boat sails about the anchor plus the bearing and distance to the anchor is displayed. Just compare the distance to how much rode you have out to detect any dragging.
