The Raychart 320 can be connected to both Seatalk and NMEA 0183 equipment. In order to use Seatalk equipment with Coastal Explorer you will need to use the Raymarine PC/Seatalk/NMEA Adapter. Alternatively, the NMEA 0183 interface on the Raychart 320 can be connected to your PC via an NMEA 0183 adapter or multiplexor.
The Raychart 320 includes a GPS which can be used by Coastal Explorer and you can transfer waypoint information to the chartplotter as well.
To Send Waypoints from Coastal Explorer to the Raychart 320
On the chartplotter:
- Display the Waypoint List by pressing MARK followed by the WAYPOINT LIST soft key.
- Press the WAYPOINT TRANSFER soft key.
- Press the RECEIVE WPTS FROM ST/NMEA soft key.
In Coastal Explorer:
- Select the waypoints to transfer.
- Click the right mouse button on the selection
- Select Send to GPS
- Select Raymarine and the port the Raychart 320 is connected to
- Click Start
