NOAA U.S. Coast Pilot To install the Coast Pilot into Coastal Explorer 1.1: Open your Coastal Explorer program folder (this is probably C:\Program Files\Coastal Explorer). If one does not already exist, create a folder called Guide Books. Open the Guide Books folder. Download one or more of the ZIP files listed below to your Desktop. Extract the files from the downloaded ZIPs into the Guide Books folder. The books will be available the next time you start Coastal Explorer.
