I want to tie my Raymarine S1000 to CE on the same serial port I am getting data from my C-80 system. Since I am only using the receive side of the serial interface, it should be a simple matter of setting up the transmit side of the port and sending the appropriate NMEA messages to the S1000.

Am I missing something here?
