Coastal Explorer Trial and Windows 7

I previously ran the CE Trial version on a machine using Vista and I installed it on a laptop running Windows 7 and it won't run properly and creates collateral problems. I assume since the trial version was not update for 2009 that it is not designed to run on Windows 7. Does anyone know for sure and/or whether there is a patch available that would allow it to run on Windows 7?
I'm afraid that Trial is so old as to be irrelevant and will probably be removed from the Rose Point website soon. We will be producing a Trial of the next major release of Coastal Explorer to replace it, though. You could also check out the new Coastal Explorer Express for a taste of what's coming in the new version (it works great with Windows 7).
