This product is manufactured by Pharos and sold as part of "Microsoft Streets & Trips 2005 with GPS Locator".

This compact GPS plugs into a USB port but its driver provides a "virtual COM port" so that just about any NMEA 0813 compatible software can use it.

This GPS has been tested with Coastal Explorer and no problems have been found.
